Websites and Applications Built to Last

Custom web applications and responsive websites built with modern technologies. From a simple landing page to a complex enterprise platform, built to load fast, work on every screen and stay maintainable as it grows.

Why it matters

Most visitors decide whether to stay in the first few seconds, and they decide on a phone, on a slow connection.

What's included

The capabilities this service covers

Marketing sites

Fast, accessible sites built to rank and convert, with a structure your team can update without a developer.

Web applications

Custom platforms with authentication, permissions, dashboards and business logic specific to how you operate.

Responsive delivery

Layouts tested across phone, tablet, laptop and large screens, rather than designed for desktop and shrunk afterwards.

Performance

Attention to Core Web Vitals, image handling, bundle size and caching, since load time affects both ranking and conversion.

SEO foundations

Semantic markup, metadata, canonical URLs, sitemaps and structured data built in from the start instead of retrofitted.

Accessibility

Keyboard navigation, screen-reader semantics, focus states and contrast handled as part of the build.

How we deliver

A clear path from first conversation to ongoing support

  1. Scope and goals

We agree what the site or application has to achieve and for whom, which decides everything from architecture to copy.

  2. Structure

Sitemap, page hierarchy and user journeys are mapped before any visual design, so navigation follows how people actually search.

  3. Design

Interfaces are designed responsively and reviewed at real breakpoints, in your brand's typography and colour.

  4. Build

Development happens in reviewable increments on a staging URL, so you see the real thing early rather than at the end.

  5. Test

Cross-browser and cross-device testing, performance profiling, accessibility checks and link validation before launch.

  6. Launch and maintain

Deployment with redirects and analytics verified, then ongoing updates, dependency patching and monitoring.

What you receive

Concrete deliverables handed over to you

  • A responsive, production-deployed website or application
  • Source code in your repository
  • SEO fundamentals: metadata, sitemap, robots, structured data
  • Analytics and conversion tracking configured
  • Documentation for content updates
  • Post-launch support and maintenance

Why it matters

The difference this makes to how your business runs

  • A site that loads quickly on a mobile connection
  • A codebase another developer can pick up
  • Technical groundwork in place for search visibility
  • Room to extend without a rebuild

Common questions

What people ask before getting in touch

How long does it take to build a website?

It depends on scope. A focused marketing site with a handful of pages is a much shorter project than a web application with user accounts and custom logic. We scope the work before quoting and give you a schedule for your specific project rather than a generic estimate.

Will the website work properly on mobile?

Yes. Every site is built responsively and tested on real phone and tablet viewports, not just a narrowed browser window. Most traffic arrives on mobile and Google evaluates the mobile version of a site first, so mobile is treated as the primary target rather than an adaptation.

Do you handle SEO as part of web development?

Technical SEO foundations are included: clean crawlable URLs, correct metadata, canonical tags, a sitemap, robots directives, structured data, and performance work that affects Core Web Vitals. Ongoing content and off-page SEO is a separate service, which you can read about on our SEO services page.

Do I own the code and the website?

Yes. Source code is handed over in your repository and the site is deployed to infrastructure you control. You are not locked into us to make future changes, and another developer can pick the project up.

Can you rebuild or improve an existing website?

Yes. We audit what is already there first, because a rebuild is not always the right answer. Sometimes performance, structure and search issues can be fixed on the existing codebase for considerably less than starting over. We tell you which case you are in before recommending work.
